Hace frío

El frío tiene un efecto increíble en nuestro cuerpo. Nos duelen los músculos. Nos quedamos quietos o tiritamos de frío. De cualquier manera, es imposible no sentirse mal y e intentar cubrirse para no sentir el frío. Por las mañanas, hace que lleguemos tarde al trabajo. Por las tardes, hace que no queramos volver a casa. A algunos los enferma,

Sin embargo, el frío en sí se define sólo por la existencia del calor. El frío es la ausencia de calor. Calor es cuando los átomos del aire están muy cerca unos de otros y generan energía. Frío es cuando no hace calor. Simplemente un nivel menor de energía en el ambiente. Sin embargo, no decimos: tengo falta de calor, decimos: Tengo frío. Es decir nos enfocamos en lo malo, en el problema, en vez de en lo bueno que estamos añorando.

Así como el frío al calor es la falta de amor al amor. Pero ¿qué es la falta de amor?. Es tristeza, es rabia, es depresión, es lucha contra el mundo, es desesperanza, es sentirse abandonado, es envidia, es agresión contra otros o contra nosotros mismos. Depende de lo que cada uno decida.

Todos estos son síntomas, y como en el caso del frío, inexistentes. Sentimientos que en sí sólo suceden porque te hace falta el amor. Y no en un sentido romántico, sino en un sentido real. El mismo amor que siempre has necesitado desde que salistes del vientre de tu madre, porque es que en realidad todos seguimos siendo bebes hasta los 99 años. Instalar linux con USB

No se donde ponerlo y aqui me parece que lo voy a conseguir siempre ;)

"En ocasiones podemos encontrarnos con que el portátil donde queremos instalar Ubuntu Linux no dispone de unidad de CD o, como es mi caso, está averiada. ¿Qué hacer entonces?

Ian Connor explicaba hace unos meses un método muy sencillo para poder instalarlo desde una memoria o disco USB. Necesitaremos un pc conectado a internet y con grabadora de cd. Vamos a ver que pasos hay que seguir.

En primer lugar debemos descargarnos la imagen de Ubuntu Linux, por supuesto, lo que podemos hacer desde el sitio web oficial de Ubuntu. Y la grabamos en un cd de la manera habitual.
Despues nos descargaremos la utilidad Syslinux para Windows.
Copiaremos el contenido del cd de Ubuntu Linux que hemos grabado a nuestra memoria o disco USB (no es necesario que estén vacios, sólo que haya espacio suficiente).
Descomprimimos Syslinux.zip y lo ejecutamos (desde una ventana de DOS) contra nuestro dispositivo USB desde el directorio donde tenemos Syslinux (si nuestro dispositivo USB es F: la instrucción sería syslinux.exe -f F:)
Copiamos estos archivos al directorio raíz de nuestro dispositivo USB:
- vmlinuz (lo encontraremos en el directorio casper\vmlinuz)
- initrd.gz (lo encontraremos en el directorio casper\initrd.gz)
- syslinux.cfg (renombraremos el archivo isolinux\isolinux.cfg a syslinux.cfg y lo copiaremos al raiz del USB)
Editamos syslinux.cfg de manera que vmlinuz e initrd.gz apunten al directorio root del dispositivo USB:

GFXBOOT bootlogo
GFXBOOT-BACKGROUND 0xB6875A

Expulsamos el dispositivo USB y lo conectamos al portátil. Lo arrancamos y pulsamos F2 para acceder a la BIOS y poder establecer nuestro dispositivo USB como predeterminado en el arranque."

Among non Listeners

Sometimes being quiet hurts too much. Specially when you can't talk about your principles out loud. Doesn't it?. And you know you do it because you know that if you do, you're not going to be listen to. You know you are going to be rejected if you say one word. Even worst when there's a crowd (5 people or more) who is against your principles. It's hard to listen to other people when you know you don't get the same right. It's hard to wait for the best time to talk personally to people.

You tried it before, and it didn't worked. ¿What to do then? I just don't know. I don't have anyone to ask. This is one of the times when you got to thrust God again. Forget about following your understanding. Just follow God. Understand that you alone are powerless. But in God you can knock down fortresses. Wait in him. Don't condemn yourself, don't condemn other people just yet. Let the Spirit of the Lord calm you down again. And later the solution will come up from other place. God has promise that all things work for the good for those of us who love God (Romans 8:28). Just remember it again.

Reset ie content advisor password

Very useful (Tested with IE 8 in Windows XP)

The following steps will remove any password set in the Internet Explorer Content Advisor and allow you to reset the program to its original state.
1) Click on Start and choose Run.

2) Type in RegEdit and select OK.

3) Now click on the little plus sign to the left of H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

4) Continue to drill down, always clicking on the plus sign at the left of the named key, through Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version and Policies.

5) Now click on the Ratings folder.


6) In the right pane of the RegEdit window, you'll see an icon called Key. Click on it and press Delete.

7) Next, choose Registry and then Exit to exit RegEdit. You've just deleted your original Content Advisor password.

8) Restart the computer and run Internet Explorer again.

9) Choose View and then Internet Options (or Options for version 3.x). For IE 5 or greater, Click on Tools, Internet Options.

10) Click on the Content tab and click on Disable. When asked for a password, don't enter anything; just click on OK. This will disable Content Advisor because there's no longer a password.

Watching people going the wrong way

Have you been there? When you know where a family/friend/foe is going and you know that other guy/girl is going to be so stubborn that will not realize his error.

And you know that he/she is going to regret it soon or later. And you know that you can't say anything to make him/her come back from where he/she is going.

Sometimes I am in a lot of pain, not because of me. But because a I see people suffering. And it's worst when I see people laughing going to the path of suffering. I am not talking about heaven or hell yet. I am talking about choices in this life. I feel so powerless, so little. Yet God respects people choices. Good and bad ones. Why shouldn't I?.

And when the bad times come to that person. I get that same thought. "I was right ¿You see?". And it makes me feel responsable. ¿Should I had talk to that person more? ¿What could I had done?

It's a sad situation. Sometimes I run away from that feeling. I prefer not to watch people. I say one word to that person and then I leave. But the feeling hunts me like a predator. I can't help but keep thinking of that person again. The only way out for me it's to pray for that person. That's the only relieve I got. And God, The Holy Spirit, has a way of calming me down while I pray. Later, maybe years, even when I forgot about the whole thing. I hear about that person again, and I know God has intervene. But not like I thought it would happend, but marvelous in his own way. Then I get to thank him for his intervention again (first was when I first pray).

So this whole text is concluded like this "REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR THEM SO IS THE ONLY WAY OF MAKING PEOPLE GET BACK FROM WRONG PATHS".

One last word to myself and to you the one reading. Have you checked the consecuences of your current actions?. Do you still think you can handle ALL without support? Are you a KNOW-ALL guy? Does the "AM I WRONG" thought ever crosses your mind? Here's a tip, hear the stories about people going your same way: What happend to them?. Is it good? is it bad?

If you say a little pray for me, I'll be more than glad. I'll do the same when I read this again.

Um, no.

I am a white American living in Japan. I've been here about 10 years. People say racist things to me all the time. No, they don't mean any offense (usually), but that doesn't mean that I don't get offended. But I didn't used to.

When I first got here, little comments like "Oh! You can use chopsticks!" and "Wow, you can write kanji just like a Japanese person!" and "everyone move over; Klein needs space" (even though I am a very little guy), I thought it was quaint.

Now when those comments are made, it makes me feel excluded. As if I can never be treated normally, just because of my brown hair and blue eyes. The novelty has worn off.

A woman complemented me on my amazing Japanese a few months ago when I used a word I literally learned in my first semester of Japanese study. It bummed me out the rest of the day.

Then there's the "special" treatment you get from cops. And drunks.

Maybe at one point I thought minorities in the US were being oversensitive, but I think that after 10 years, I finally get it. Finding hateful racist people is getting harder every day, thank god, but when you're a minority, everything is just a little racist. You're treated differently, and it doesn't have anything to do with how you act or what you can or can't do. It just comes down to your physical attributes, and you can't change those. It just gets... tiring.

But I have it better than minorities in the US or Canada or wherever. This is not my home country. If I ever get totally sick of it (and I'll be honest, there are some things happening these days that are really making me question if it's worth being here--the cops' treatment is getting more special by the day), I can go home to the US where I'll be just another regular white guy. But a regular black guy in the US can't go anywhere. It's his home, and his life is one of being treated differently every single day. I understand why some people get touchy. I'm getting touchy, and I don't have it anywhere near as bad as black people in the US.

So there's the perspective of a white guy who has figured it out without any brainwashing.

Watch your mouth, people. It sucks when the main thing people remember about you is your race.

Why I don't trust scientific facts

These are the steps of how science is made (for those of you who still don't know)

1. Some scientist applies the scientific method to his/her are of knowledge. He/She writes a hipotesis, tests data, and writes a report with results with results and conclusions. A paper is born.

2. Now that he/she is sure of the paper. He starts communicating to other scientist about the idea. Other people confirm it (or not)

3. The paper is published, or not.

4. Science boards study the paper providing a answer to the matter. Is it good? or is it flawed?

5. When some time has passed, 10 years or 20 years (who knows), scientists have being studying the matter for quite a time. New theories have emerged over this paper. Science, can be said, accept the Theory in the paper as true.

6. After a theory is found out to be "true". There are legal and cultural implications. All people on the world "must" believe what the scientific theory says.

I am sure there other in-step steps I am missing. But this is pretty much the way the system in science goes.

So, what's the catch?. The problem is that this is an special technocracy alienated to be like democracy. And we now that in democracy "consensus" can be, and almost always is, fabricated by the massive media. Here is a bunch of people, deciding what the rest of the world should be thinking. We, the normal people, don't have a clue on that, and should accept as faith what they had said. ¿Sounds awful isn't it?. So here is the list again but seen how the complex reality really is.

1. This scientist, influented by the normal paradigms of his class, the years listening to the same theories several times a day proposes a new experiment with the interpretation guided by thouse theories.

2. His other fellow scientist have the same paradigms, beliefs systems. They will agree based on his common paradigms.

3. The magazine editor publishes the work, only if it is going to be good for the scientific magazine. Scientific public, "The buyers", must like the content of the magazine. If it is based on bad evidence it can be bad for sales. Finally the paper is only published when there's a high chance that it will be a lasting paper.

4. Science boards. Same as point 2, but with higher reputation involved. Reputation means be accord the paradigms.

5. 10, 20 years later. The theories repeated multiple times, they get the status of true in this society.

6. The rest of the world accepts the theory and make cultural and legal changes. We can't argue to it because we're not "ENTITLED" to have an disent opinion. But don't worry the massive media will do its job to make you believe what you should believe.

#83 ¿Una Iglesia atea?. Creo que es buena idea, porque intenta cubrir la pata coja que hay en el ateismo y algunos parecen no ver.

Hasta hace poco la moral, o ética, habia estado asociada a las religiones. Porque la moral es básicamente "lo que es costumbre". Pero si todas las costumbres son cuestionables, todos tendremos diferentes éticas. Si quieres quitar a Dios, como propone el ateismo, es obvio que debas sugerir algo para sustituir o fortalecer la ética.

Siendo un poco más ilustrativo: Imagina un mundo totalmente ateo y vuestro vecino considere la pedofilia buena y quiera jugar con vuestro hijo. ¿Verdad que no es buena idea?
Los ateos pasan tanto tiempo criticando a Dios y las religiones que se olvidan de los problemas que crea la No Existencia de Dios.

Si te vas a la RAE, encontrarás multiples definiciones de moral y ética. Algunas más oscuras que otras (Usamos el término para múltiples cosas).

Cuando yo hablo de ética de sociedad me refiero a una lista de diferencias entre lo bueno y lo malo o por lo menos una forma de conseguirlas y que estas sean IGUALES para todos. Escribo mi planteamiento de otra forma:

- ¿Propone cada religión una ética? ... Si.
- ¿Propone el ateismo una ética? ... No. El típico ateo simplemente responde, como lo haces tú, con razonamientos que atacan la ética religiosa pero que no responden la pregunta. La verdad es que la respuesta oficial del ateismo es muy dificil de tragar. Si Dios no existe, entonces la ética común no existe. Y un mundo con 6.000 millones de éticas diferentes no parece ser un mundo muy agradable. Pensad en pedofilia, asesinatos, lucha de poder, robos, etc.

Science people doesn't have a clue on temptation. First, they think it doesn't exist.
Because they don't believe evil things, or sins, exist. Basically, you can do everything you like, because nothing's wrong. It's crazy ... isn't it? What a world it would be with all people letting all their thoughts live without bounds.
But temptation does exist, and of course: conscience. We live constantly live between thoughts of evil and good. Who shall win?

So... what's the source of our temptations?. is it lack of reasoning? is it wrong feelings? is it wounds in our souls? The bible talks about two sources: Demons and ourselves.

I agree about fighting the devil and all his demons... but how is that possible that we have to fight with ourselves everyday. Well, it's the way it is.
The more important question in this matter would be ¿What's the best way to fight temptation?

The bible is full of example stories. I really like that. There's nothing more instructing than a story. It offer us some good and bad ways to fight temptation. Here's a list of the tips I've got from some temptations stories I've read.

- Eve with the snake: First, the devil(snake) denies god's limits (science people hear him). Later he exaggerates god's limits (rebel people hear him). And finally the devil says good is bad and bad is good (immoral people hear him). If we think about the benefits of bad things, we will be closer to falling on them, as happened on Eve. All that is in Genesis 3.

- Cain and abel: Being angry and/or envious are another steps we do before doing bad things. God says to us "you can be blessed to". God doesn't give special privileges to anyone. We can all be blessed and be satisfied by him. God says "you can master temptation and anger". We have the final control on our actions. God promises it. All that is in Genesis 4.

- Joseph and Potiphar's wife: Some temptations (lust) can only be overcome by running away. I must say that this running has to be done without thinking as he left his garment in her hand. Running away without thinking, for me, means Acting proactively to avoid sin without thinking. The more you think about bad things, the more you will be closer to them. The more you move your body to do good things, the less likely you'll fall on bad things. So it's a good idea to keep a plan of actions for every day in order to protect your mind from idle-evil-thinking times. More info on Genesis 39.

¿Y yo que obtengo? ¿What do I get from this?

Esto de tener un bebe genera muchas reacciones en muchas personas. Todas diferentes. Algunas lo ven como una carga. Otras como "Ay que liiiindo!" (Reflejo de amor natural). Otras no le dan importancia. La respuesta más popular seria: "los hijos dan muchas satisfacciones". Y me parece una muy mala respuesta, creo que es la respuesta típica de una sociedad que solo se enfoca en el intercambio comercial. Nos encanta comprar cosas "caras" a precios ridículos. Ni hablar de las cosas que son gratis, simplemente nos encantan. Hay cosas que no comprarias porque no necesitas, en cambio cuando te las dan gratis, las intentas usar para sacarles algún provecho. ¿No es cierto? Somos asi, por esta sociedad que nos impulsa a siempre buscar un intercambio favorable de las cosas (En el mejor caso: Justo).
Y todos son asi en esta sociedad. Tanto a nivel personal, como a nivel de comunidades, y a nivel de paises. ¿Por qué ocurren los divorcios? porque uno de los dos decide que no esta obteniendo suficientes beneficios. ¿Por qué Africa permanece pobre, hambrienta y enferma? porque ninguno de los paises alrededor ve beneficios al ayudar a africa.

Pero ¿que hay de cuando compras algo "barato" a precio muy alto?. Es malo eso?... Si, para esta sociedad eso es muy malo, es ser un tonto. Es más, Ayudar a los desprotegidos es ser criminal. Porque los otros deberian valerse por "si mismos". Que idea más absurda. Y no me extraña ¿cómo puede el mundo conocer el amor si no conoce a Dios?

¿Qué obtengo yo de tener un bebe? muy poco. ¿Que obtiene el bebe? La oportunidad de vivir. ¿Qué obtuvo Jesus al dar su vida por nosotros? El mayor sufrimiento jamás soñado ¿Qué obtenemos nosotros? Vida eterna.
La próxima vez que te sientas timado o abusado al dar y no recibir nada a cambio... Acuérdate de Jesús, que lo dió todo y no pide nada a cambio, sino más espacio en tu vida para seguir bendiciéndote.

El que no depende de nadie

Me gusta simplificar. Decir que las cosas son fáciles. Mi discurso es casi siempre argumentativo. Casi siempre cuando estoy convencido de algo por algunas razones, mis comentarios se limitan a frases concluyentes.
¿Es malo eso? ... Si. El mundo no es simple. Es bastante complicado. Yo me resisto pero casi siempre me termino enterando que las respuestas de la vida son más un gris antes que un blanco o negro puro.
Casi todas las preguntas de la vida se responden con ... Depende. Y me pregunto hoy... ¿Es que todo depende de algo y no hay respuesta definitiva? No todo es asi.
En mi vida hay una sola verdad a la que puedo aferrarme y todo mi mundo gira en torno a ella. Esa verdad me sedujo, me convenció y aunque a veces he dudado, permanece porque es una verdad viva, que se deja conocer por los hechos normales de la vida. Esa verdad se llama Jesucristo. El Dios personal que tanto critican pero más que nada envidian. Y no tendrían porque, ya que Dios esta dispuesto a hacerse conocer a todo el que le busque. ¿Y como estoy convencido de que el es la verdad? Por los buenos resultados en mi y en los que me rodean. ¿Cuáles son esos buenos resultados? El Amor, Paz, Gozo y Esperanza. Emociones que producen pensamientos que se retroalimentan a si mismas y producen cambios en mi cada día y a la vez producen cambios en los que me rodean. Ningún otro estilo de vida provee estos beneficios al individuo, la comunidad y al mundo entero.

El es la verdad. El no depende de nada. El es la piedra inconmobible. Todo lo demás cambia. Lo que hoy es divertido y saludable, mañana es peligroso y dañino. ¿Ejemplos? Los alimentos que debe consumir todo ser humano, las relaciones de padres e hijos, las enfermedades, y me faltaria lugar para poner todas las instrucciones que nos da esta sociedad y que se cambian en cada generación. Y todo es por culpa de la civilización donde vivimos.

Nuestra civilización es risible, vive dando tumbos como un borracho tras "La ciencia".La ciencia no es más que la espuma del orgullo del tecnicismo tratando de responder las preguntas más importantes de la vida. La ciencia guia ciegamente a la civilización, siendo ella misma ciega. Que alguien me responda esto, ¿Cómo se puede medir el beneficio de algo si no tienes ninguna base a la que aferrarte? Aún más pienso que el mayor error de la ciencia es no discernir que el ser humano tiene en su ser innumerables deseos destructivos, egoismo, falta de amor, etc. ¿Pero cómo podrían discernirlo? si no pueden ni siquiera medir la maldad o la bondad. Llegan al punto de decir que no existe... En fin, que si estos son los que guian el mundo a través de sus teorias. Los que han pensado bien las cosas. ¿Qué queda para los que han pensado muy poco las cosas? ¿A donde crees que se dirige este mundo?

Dios existe y ha dado su solución al problema de como vivir la vida. Lo único es que en su plan quiere dejar fuera a los que son capaces de explicarlo todo. ¿Por qué? no lo se, pero es así. Aborrece a los soberbios.

Scamable

Una confesión: No soy perfecto. Un recordatorio: Nadie lo es. Uno de mis defectos es que soy fácil de engañar. ¿Y como lo sé? porque he sido engañado tantas veces que ya es hora que lo reconozca.
¿Y como han sucedido estos engaños? Creo que soy seducido por recompensas falsas. El deseo de facilitarme la vida: Ya sea dinero, placer, etc. Y este deseo hace que me olvide de que estas cosas cuando se realizan de forma correcta requieren tiempo y dedicación.

Que frustración cuando vuelvo la cara atras y me miro a mi mismo en el pasado metido en cosas que ahora se que no aprovechan para nada y la verdad son retrasos para el alma en el camino hacia Dios. Que cantidad de tiempo perdido y con lo corta que es la vida.

Lo que más me sorprende es la cantidad de engaños que esta lleno el mundo. Miro a gente metida en cosas que sabemos que estan mal y me digo al menos en esa no cai. Pero es que hay TANTOS tipos de engaños. Puedo decir que cada cosa humana tiene asociada un engaño, una forma de enredarse con ella. Ejemplifico: Futbol, puedes gastar todo el dinero en entradas de futbol o cosas de futbol y al final no tienen nada que ver con tu vida. Videojuegos, puedes pasar tu vida en ellos y no sacaras nada bueno sino solo alejarte un poco de la realidad. Niños, puedes pensar que son mas importantes que tu y si llegaran a morir te suicidas. Tu trabajo, trabajas lo más que puedes y al final tu jefe te echa o no te aumentan el sueldo y tu carrera se estanca. Los estudios, al final descubres que tantos estudios y no puedes saberlo todo y que mientras mas sabes mas te das cuenta que mas te falta. Y no hablemos ya de Drogas, sexo, amigos equivocados, etc.

Que listo fue Jesus al pedirnos que pidieramos: "No nos dejes caer en tentación". Sigamos orando que Dios nos ayuda a identificar cuando estamos frente a ellas y mantenernos en pie sin caer y recibir la corona de la vida.
